WHO WE ARE:
Jimmy Famolare is an operations leader with extensive experience improving the performance, safety, and reliability of transit systems in California and Massachusetts. With more than three decades in fixed-route, paratransit, and microtransit operations, he has managed large, unionized teams—up to 400 staff and 150 vehicles—while driving measurable gains in on-time performance, safety, and service quality. A collaborative, data-informed manager, he has modernized scheduling systems, redefined microtransit software and service delivery, strengthened incident response, and improved communication between agencies, contractors, and customers. Combining policy insight with hands-on operational expertise and an MBA in Transportation Management, Jimmy brings a leadership approach grounded in accountability, empathy, and continuous improvement. He is proficient in both HASTUS and Trapeze scheduling systems.
